My day always starts with reviewing my to-do list (and coffee). While we do keep things on Basecamp, I find writing my tasks down to be helpful. Plus, I find great satisfaction in physically crossing things off.


Sharpies are my friend. When I’m stuck on a project, I sketch things out.


My notebook is my friend; my home-base. And my brain. It’s filled with to-do lists, doodles, research, and the occasional inspirational quote.


I look around when I’m thinking.


My everyday. My iMac. After all these years, I still gravitate toward my pal Illustrator.


It’s safe to say that at least once a day I am meeting with the boss lady to go over a project or check in on one.


It’s easy to stay sitting at my desk all day. Oddly, I am thankful we do our own dishes because it forces me to stand up and move.


From screen to table. It’s rewarding to see your work in physical form. I jump a little inside whenever a print piece is dropped off.


Attn: graphic design students. Your days of mock-ups do not end when you graduate college.


A good day ends with a cocktail… Okay, the not so good days do too.
